The LCAP300 air bearing has a stiffness of 1-1/4 million pounds per inch and supports over 350 pounds. Typical for the LCA series, these bearings are more accurate than even the finest rolling element bearings by orders of magnitude due to the frictionless, non-contact properties of air bearings.
