Spherical Air Bearings SRA100-R45 / 620-39117

This compact spherical air bearing supports frictionless rotary motion in three axes. With the sphere weighing only 0.4 lbs, this bearing allows for system assemblies requiring low inertia. Best designed for the load less than 69 pounds, it has the smallest drag torque of the SRA series spherical air bearings. Pneumatic hammering of the air film can plague an air bearing design and result in unstable bearing performance. Unlike other spherical air bearings, the SRA series eliminates this possibility by including vibration dampening features within the design.
