Spherical Air Bearings SRA100-R15 / 620-39115

This compact spherical air bearing supports frictionless rotary motion in three axes. With the sphere weighing only 0.2 lbs, this bearing allows for system assemblies requiring low inertia. Best designed for the lightest of loads, it also has the smallest drag torque. Pneumatic hammering of the air film can plague an air bearing design and result in unstable bearing performance. Unlike other spherical air bearings, the SRA series eliminates this possibility by including vibration dampening features within the design.
