Spherical Air Bearings SRA250-R30 / 620-39225

This 2.5 inch radius spherical air bearing carries 510 pounds of load with a high stiffness of 2 million pounds per inch. The frictionless rotary motion of spherical air bearings makes them ideal for satellite simulation, semiconductor wafer-plane alignment and a variety of other applications. Pneumatic hammering of the air film can plague an air bearing design and result in unstable bearing performance. Unlike other spherical air bearings, the SRA series eliminates this possibility by including vibration dampening features within the design.
