Circular Flat Vacuum Preloaded Air Bearings LRAVP400 / 615-15222
The circular LRAVP400 air bearing has a stiffness of 350,000 pounds per inch and supports loads of over 90 pounds. A vacuum pocket provides nearly 50 pounds of holding force to the mating surface while exhibiting frictionless, accurate, linear or rotary motion in a plane. Typical for air bearings of this type, the LRAV series bearings are more accurate than even the finest rolling element bearings by orders of magnitude.
